Dye Sublimation is a printing process in which the colored dye starts off in a solid, rather than liquid, state. The printer then uses heat and pressure to transform the solid dye directly to a gas and penetrate into the material. This is different than screen printing in which the liquid dye sits on top of the fabric. Dye Sublimation provides a brighter, more vibrant and realistic image than screen printing or even ink-jet printing and allows us to get extremely detailed designs.

The new K1 Race Gear karting neck collar for 2011 sports a carbon fibre look; special features include a water/stain/sweat resistant outer lining which makes the collar easier to keep clean and dry under harsh racing conditions. This new design also features a new dense foam material allowing for more durability and provides added protection to neck and collar bone. The foam padding is easily removable for customizing; and is machine washable.
